Psalm 122
English Standard Version
Let Us Go to the House of the Lord
A Song of (A)Ascents. Of David.
122 I was glad when they said to me,
(B)“Let us go to the house of the Lord!”
2 Our feet have been standing
within your gates, O Jerusalem!
3 Jerusalem—(C)built as a city
that is (D)bound firmly together,
4 to which the tribes (E)go up,
the tribes of the Lord,
as was (F)decreed for[a] Israel,
to give thanks to the name of the Lord.
5 There (G)thrones for judgment were set,
the thrones of the house of David.
6 (H)Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
“May they be secure who love you!
7 Peace be within your (I)walls
and security within your (J)towers!”
8 For my brothers and companions' sake
I will say, (K)“Peace be within you!”
9 For the sake of the house of the Lord our God,
I will (L)seek your good.

One in Christ
11 Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by what is called (A)the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands— 12 remember (B)that you were at that time separated from Christ, (C)alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to (D)the covenants of promise, (E)having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were (F)far off have been brought near (G)by the blood of Christ. 14 For (H)he himself is our peace, (I)who has made us both one and has broken down (J)in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility 15 by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in (K)ordinances, that he might create in himself one (L)new man in place of the two, so making peace, 16 and might (M)reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. 17 And he came and (N)preached peace to you who were (O)far off and peace to those who were (P)near. 18 For (Q)through him we both have (R)access in (S)one Spirit to the Father. 19 So then you are no longer (T)strangers and aliens,[a] but you are (U)fellow citizens with the saints and (V)members of the household of God, 20 (W)built on the foundation of the (X)apostles and prophets, (Y)Christ Jesus himself being (Z)the cornerstone, 21 (AA)in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into (AB)a holy temple in the Lord.

Unity in the Body of Christ
4 I therefore, (A)a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to (B)walk in a manner worthy of (C)the calling to which you have been called, 2 with all (D)humility and (E)gentleness, with (F)patience, (G)bearing with one another in love, 3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in (H)the bond of peace. 4 There is (I)one body and (J)one Spirit—just as you were called to the one (K)hope that belongs to your call— 5 (L)one Lord, (M)one faith, (N)one baptism, 6 (O)one God and Father of all, (P)who is over all and through all and in all. 7 But (Q)grace was given (R)to each one of us (S)according to the measure of Christ's gift.
